Residential entry rates now span $0.80/GB (the value floor, held by our #1) to $6/GB at legacy premium vendors — a 7.5× spread for broadly comparable IPs. Dedicated datacenter addresses run $0.45–$3 monthly. Every review normalises these stickers into success-adjusted cost so the spread becomes comparable.
Red flags in proxy reviews elsewhere
- Rankings with no described methodology — placement is likely sold.
- “Reviews” that never mention a single weakness.
- Identical pool numbers copied from vendor brochures without sampling.

Do vendors pay for placement?
