Every provider in our directory is evaluated against the same five weighted criteria. We re-run our benchmarks regularly and update the rankings as prices, pool sizes and performance change.

• Price & value — 30%. We calculate the blended cost per gigabyte and per IP across entry and volume tiers, then weigh it against the quality delivered. Value, not just the lowest sticker price, drives this score.
• Speed & success rate — 25%. We send live benchmark requests — over 1.2 million in our latest round — to real-world targets and measure median latency, throughput and the percentage of requests that succeed without a ban or timeout.
• Pool & coverage — 20%. We assess total IP pool size, the number of countries and cities served, and the granularity of targeting (city, ASN and carrier).
• Features — 15%. Protocol support (HTTP/S and SOCKS5), rotation control, sticky sessions, APIs, dashboards and integrations all factor in here.

What we test, in detail

Marketing pages love big numbers. We care about what happens when you actually send traffic. For every provider in our directory, our benchmark harness measures the metrics that determine your real-world experience:
